Speaking at Ellensburg

I will be speaking at the Northwest Economic Development Course in Ellensburg, Washington in late August.

Operated by the Washington State Department of Commerce and Business Oregon, this course is renowned throughout the US Pacific Northwest and British Columbia as an outstanding training session for economic developers. Read more

CBC Literary Award

Elissa Vann Struth was awarded second place in the 2009 CBC Literary Awards for her short story, “Down to the Roots”. The Awards are Canada’s largest literary competition for unpublished work in French and English. Previous winners have included Carol Shields, Michael Ondaatje and Gail Anderson-Dargatz. The awards gala was held in Toronto in March 2010. Read more

The Island Coastal Economic Trust was created by the Province of BC in 2006 to provide funding for economic development projects on Vancouver Island and the Sunshine Coast. Local governments and community groups apply for funding for projects that fit within defined target sectors and are evaluated against a set of strategic objectives.

Greeting Cards

With love, from kiki was a fun side project that featured five original letterpress greeting cards. Vintage advertising images were used in combination with quirky sentiments, such as the image of a salmon accompanied by the sentiment, “congratulations on spawning”.
